PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear Music Enthusiasts!
Welcome to the 2008 Shuswap Music Festival, now in its eight year and growing. In 2007 we had the pleasure of working with close to 800 solo and group entries and we look forward to yet another successful year.
We have chosen top adjudicators from across Western Canada who are know for providing the participants with valuable directions and instructions.
The Shuswap Music Festival is open to non-professional musicians from the Southern Interior of British Columbia. This year we include Bands, Woodwind and Brass, Piano, Strings and Orchestras, Voice and Choirs. Our goal is to provide the best possible festival experiences for all participants.
Thanks to the support of local organizations and businesses and the tremendous work of a great number of volunteers, we are confident that we will be able to meet our goals.
This is the first year that we invite you to register via a dedicated internet site. We are confident that it will make the registration process less complicated, easier and much faster. We hope you will enjoy this improvement.
We look forward to your participation and thank you for helping to make the Shuswap Music Festival an outstanding success!
Jeff den Biesen, President
